I wasn't sure whether taking both of the out would still show both LEDs on, so I gave it a try :)Think more like a computer.

With one of them, it's the same, with the other one, it turns on just fine but those LEDs are on and the PC won't post. Yeah, thanks :) So with both of them, it turns on then immediately off.

I have this computer for 3 years and never had an issue. I'm afraid to try and reinstall the CPU, is it something that can be done by anyone? I also tried to unplug everything from the power and hard reset my computer by holding down the power button for 30 seconds. I tried to move the only working stick I had to another slot but that didn't fix the issue. The top 2 LEDs are lighting up when I turn on my PC. I have an MSI Z270 pc mate motherboard and according to their website, and if I understood the following sketch correctly, my CPU and DRAM was bad: I looked at my Mobo again and saw there are debug LEDs. My keyboard's backlight was blinking, the mouse as well, seemed like something at fault. So I plugged everything back in, leaving the faulty stick out but the PC won't POST. Seemed okay so I plugged in the other one, then it stop booting. So I kept only one stick which I moved between both slots. I pulled my RAM out, both of them and it seems to keep on booting. I didn't know what's up so I tried to debug it by making sure everything fits into place. It turns on for a second and then turns off. If you have another PC, connect the Commander CORE to that PC and use iCUE to force update the Commander CORE firmware to the latest version.Try the following to see if any of the steps solves the issue:

If you bought the iCUE ELITE CPU Cooler LCD Display upgrade kit, you might run into this error because your Commander CORE has not been updated to the latest firmware that supports the LCD. These errors are typically caused by the LCD not receiving any data from the Commander CORE. The general fault error type covers all errors that are not related to the pump. If you see the following error icon, it means you are experiencing a general fault. In this case, contact Customer Support and we will provide further assistance. Please note that if you plug in the LCD while your PC is on, you may have damaged the pump's tachometer sensor, which will lead to the error. NOTE: Make sure that you only do this when the cooler is powered off, since the pump loop is sensitive to voltage inrush and can be damaged if you push the cap when the power is on.Give the LCD cap a light push to make sure it is in full contact with the 8-pin.You also want to check the 20-pin to see if any of the pins are damaged.Push down on the 20-pin that goes from the LCD module to the Commander CORE to make sure it is fully seated the white stripe on the plug should align with the white stripe on the Commander CORE housing.
This icon means that your Commander CORE is not receiving any tachometer output from the pump that is connected to the LCD. If you see the following error icon, it means that you are experiencing a pump error. What does the square with the spinning impeller mean?
